Fallen from the Trade at the National Furniture

On November 21st, the "Tombée de Métier" (a traditional French award ceremony) was held for the desk and serving table designed by Nicolas Aubagnac for the Mobilier National (National Furniture Collection) and produced by ARC.

This unique project embodies a perfect alchemy between tradition and modernity:

Macassar ebony interacts with Corian, highlighting the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary innovation. Elegant forms, subtle curves, and a refined two-tone color scheme lend this furniture a timeless aesthetic. Functionality and comfort are also paramount, with integrated USB ports and pull-out shelves thanks to a custom-designed mechanism.

A nod to the Republic: two translucent blue and red resin strips set into the tray discreetly but proudly celebrate the national colours.

This creation, the result of exceptional craftsmanship, enriches the collection of works created by Nicolas Aubagnac for the Mobilier national.
