Stool or throne?
bronze nobility
This chair represents a return to essentials with timeless and impeccable proportions. A simple curve forms the seat like a delicately suspended leaf. The seat evokes a woven pattern with a highly graphic design. The four sculpted legs are inspired by the plant world, like a vine emerging from the earth to hold the seat in suspension.
Conceived as a sculpture, the Negus stool is cast in bronze and hand-patinated.

A sculpted seat
To achieve the plant-like texture of the base and the braiding of the seat, it was necessary to find a sculptor capable of sculpting them by drawing inspiration from the roots of the tree.
A mold was then made of these sculptures so that they could be cast in bronze.
This is where the expertise of an artistic bronze caster is required.
Each solid bronze stool is then hand-patinated using ancestral recipes that remain somewhat secret…
This is what gives each pedestal table its own unique and distinctive patina.
