An ode to Antiquity…
A journey to Greece…
Its stripped-down and highly graphic silhouette evokes, through stylized forms reduced to their purity, the scrolls of an Ionic column capital surmounted by a block of Greek marble, the famous Tassos with its dazzling whiteness.
The delicately raised edges of the tray seem to barely touch the four forged steel rings.
Timeless harmony of black and white, smooth and rough, raw and refined.
A piece of archaeological history from the future.

Strength and precision
All my steel creations are forged and then hand-patinated.
I chose a patina called "forged black" which is like a signature of all my pieces.
The "black forge" patina is an ancient technique which consists of fixing onto the metal the scale which forms naturally on the surface under the combined action of the high temperature of the fire and the striking of the metal on the anvil.
This traditional patina allows the metal to shine with discreet touches while bringing warmth to the steel through a subtle range of shades from anthracite grey to black.
It's all about the art of revealing the strength and softness of metal.
