Light & Architecture

strength and delicacy

During my travels and walks I never cease to admire the architecture of the places I discover, such as here the tower of Jumièges Abbey in Normandy.

And then these images make their way into my head… until they become objects like this lamp.

Based on a hexagon, a stable and harmonious shape, rises the Orion lamp, like a majestic six-sided column.

The object references the architecture of a forgotten civilization…It exudes a quiet strength.

Each side displays a marquetry of smoked larch that makes the amber hues vibrate in a natural and powerful gradient.

The column-object rests on a discreet and precious patinated brass base.
