Fontenay

The creator recalls the colorful vibrations of a glazed terracotta pavement dating from the 12th century, discovered in the Abbey of Fontenay in Burgundy.

The Fontenay rug is primarily inspired by distinctive architecture where simple and timeless geometry predominates. Its composition echoes the spirit of the place and offers a clean, minimalist design reduced to a simple checkerboard pattern, brought to life by the interplay of colors.

Two other colorful variations on the same theme have also enriched the Pinton collections.
