All our forged steel creations are hand-patinated.

This is called a “forge black” patina because it uses an ancient technique that involves fixing the calamine that forms on the surface of the metal under the combined action of high temperatures and hammering on an anvil.

Cette patine traditionnelle laisse briller le métal par touches discrètes tout en apportant de la chaleur à l’acier par un jeu subtil de camaïeu allant du gris anthracite au noir.

C’est tout l’art de révéler la force et la douceur du métal.
