Japanese inspiration
Ki means “tree” in Japanese.
So this simple floor lamp resting on three legs obviously evokes a tree and its roots.
Hand-forged in iron, KI exudes the strength of metal.
The delicacy of the hammering on its surface draws the patterns of a wooden bark.
Up there, like an upside-down hat, a large woven raffia lampshade opens towards the sky and diffuses its golden light through the woven straw.

Strength and precision
All our forged steel creations are hand-patinated.
This is called a “forge black” patina because it uses an ancient technique that involves fixing the calamine that forms on the surface of the metal under the combined action of high temperatures and hammering on an anvil.
