Like a bronze totem

What inspired my "Papyrus" furniture and lighting collection was a sculpture by Brancusi, the famous "Endless Column".

For the Delisle publishing house, I wanted to recapture the power of this monumental and minimalist totem while blending it with the richness of chiseled bronze.

Thanks to the modular shape of the cone, the collection comes in multiple variations.

The sculpted plant texture on each cone gives each object a serene and timeless elegance.

As proof, this collection, which has become iconic, is now 20 years old!

Continuing the bronze tradition

The Delisle company is a family business of art bronzers that was founded in 1895, in the heart of the Marais district in Paris.

Today, Jean Delisle embodies the fifth generation of this "Living Heritage Company", a member of the Colbert Committee.

The Delisle company has illustrated all the major trends in Decorative Arts and Nicolas Aubagnac entered its collections in 2003.

At the same time, the Delisle company is helping to restore the splendor of French heritage treasures: Versailles, the Place de la Concorde, the Palais Royal…

Through his various collections for the Delisle company, Nicolas Aubagnac continues this uninterrupted dialogue between the tradition of bronze and light…
