IGUAZU

Pour la maison d’édition Pouenat, j’ai dessiné la collection « Iguazu » en hommage aux chutes d’eau spectaculaires qui s’écoulent au milieu de la forêt tropicale, entre l’Argentine et le Brésil.

Inspired by lush nature, a console, a coffee table and a desk lamp display their curved shapes which are both playful and soft to the touch.

The colored granite slabs recall the mineral and natural aspect of the site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The feet with their curved volumes are incised with engraved and enameled motifs that evoke the graphic design of vines and the exuberant vegetation of Brazil.

An ode to the strength, gentleness and fragility of the natural places that fascinate us all.
