Magellan

Created by Nicolas Aubagnac for the Pinton workshops, the Magellan rug pays homage to the famous Portuguese navigator who sailed around the world in 1522 and proved that the earth was indeed round.

Its contemporary design evokes the sophisticated layout of nautical charts where meridians intertwine to form an elegant, timeless design.

Its double tufting gives the illusion of a drawing traced in chalk on a blackboard.
