For the publishing house Pouenat, with which he has collaborated for more than 15 years, Nicolas Aubagnac has signed a new collection which he has named "IGUAZU" in homage to the spectacular waterfalls that flow in the middle of the rainforest, between Argentina and Brazil.
Inspired by lush nature, a console, a coffee table and a desk lamp display their curved shapes which are both playful and soft to the touch.
The colored granite slabs recall the mineral and natural aspect of the site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The feet with their curved volumes are incised with engraved and enameled motifs that evoke the graphic design of vines and the exuberant vegetation of Brazil.
An ode to the strength, gentleness and fragility of the natural places that fascinate us all.
