Light of wisdom

According to Egyptian mythology, Thot is a moon God trusted with knowledge and wisdom.
He is the originator of writing and science. To honour these important attributes, I wanted a sort of totem, graphical and at the same time stable: a raised square on a pyramidal base, neat and precise.
It is believed that Thot captured moonlight and ruled the phases, so here are the sides of the lamp covered in a marquetry of amber mica which calls to mind the distinct clarity of the moon, both bright and obscure.

May Gods shine light on you!
